Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a collaboration of psychotherapy and hypnosis. It is a calming and relaxing approach, that enhances clients mental wellbeing by focusing on positivity and solutions to a variety of problems related to stress, anxiety, sleep difficulties and phobias.

The modern talking therapy empowers clients to look forward and gain insights into their inner strengths and formulate goals that can be broken down into small achievable steps which enables the client to gain motivation to positively fulfil their future orientated goals and aspirations.

Hypnosis is a state of focused attention and deep relaxation which allows our subconscious minds to be more receptive to positive suggestions and negative thought templates to be changed. By accessing the subconscious and changing the negative templates we have a greater possibility of making life long positive changes in our thought patterns enhancing of mental well being and our lifes journey for the better.

The Initial Consultation

During our initial consultation, I will explain how the brain works and how anxiety and stress are created. We will look  at how I can help you to get back to the best version of yourself and get your life back on track.

 

Then you will be able to make an informed decision about whether this is the right approach for you. 

The Solution Focused session

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a type of ‘talking therapy’, that combines the use of psychotherapy with hypnosis.

Hypnosis or ‘trance’ is a very natural, relaxing state, encouraged by using guided relaxation, where the mind can relax and then focus on thoughts and suggestions that might be useful.


Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, therapists look at what the client wants to achieve (the solution) rather than at whatever prompted them to seek help (the problem).

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Every one is unique and so are the sessions. In each session we will  focus  you on developing your preferred future. We don't need to spend time looking back at the problem, which caused the suffering. Instead, we work together to move you to where you want to be - a brighter, more positive future.

during the initial consultation we meet each other in a relaxed environment to see if hypnotherapy is a the right treatment for you.

 

I will explain how the brain works and how hypnotherapy works in more detail.

 

 Ultimately it is down to you to want to make the changes and be willing to engage in the therapeutic process. The treatment process is effectively a team effort and should be treated as such. For this reason I cannot guarantee results.
